How To Increase Site Traffic
As per Webs 8 ways you can improve your site and increase site traffic:
Be memorable and up to date – Keeping an active blog is a great way to generate text heavy content that is sure to keep search engines coming back to index your site and thus drive traffic to it. Websites that are not updated on regular basis do not get indexed as often.
Keep it Simple – Remember that visitors should always be able to easily look around your site. Don’t trick them into staying too long. If visitors are frustrated and can’t find the right information, they are more likely to leave quickly and are less likely to come back.
Provide Contact Information – Make it simple for visitors to find ways they can reach out to you. Provide an email address, form for their questions or a place they can simply write in, such as guestbook. Of course you should always be cautious not to give out too personal information.
Submit to Directories – Adding your site to Google and other search engines helps index it faster. Submitting this information will allow your site to be considered for future searches.
Describe that File – Use keywords when naming your image files that are being used by your site. Doing so will help you gain visitors when people search using Google Images.
Create Links – Linking to your site from other websites will help generate more traffic and improve your placement in search engines.
Tag your Site – Adding site tags can increase the number of times your site shows up in search results. To pick the right keywords, try putting yourself in the shoes of your visitors.
Categorize your Site – Just like adding tags, categorizing your site helps to better define what your site is about, thus improving the quality of your site traffic.

Tweet from your symbian Nokia e71
Can’t stop thinking what your friend on Twitter think. Now you can stay in touch with the new Twitter interface for you Symbian mobile phone called Twittix.
Like some folk I know, you can’t bear to be away from your Twitter feed for more than a couple of minutes, then get a load of Twittix.
This streamlined Twitter client for Series 60 is lightweight and easy-to-use, allowing you to quickly check what the people you’re following are doing, but also post your own tweets from wherever you may be.
As I said, Twittix is so simple to use. You just need to enter your username and password to sign in then, within a few seconds, your feed is displayed on screen, allowing you to see what everyone is doing. After reading a tweet you can choose to reply, retweet, forward via SMS, or set as favorite. All these options are available simply by clicking on the tweet.
Of course, Twittix also lets you post your own tweets, which you can do by selecting ‘Create Tweet’ from the ‘Options’ menu. The app also lets you add photos stored on your phone, automatically setting them to Twitpix format and uploading them.
The thing I love most about Twittix is the easy way it lets you navigate through the Timeline, @ messages, Favorites, Followers, Following, Everyone, and Search screens. All you need to do is hit the left and right directional buttons to flick through these various Twitter features. The fact that all these features are even included makes Twittix one of the most advanced mobile Twitter clients out there.
On the downside, Twittix is rather buggy at present. For instance, I found that the app sometimes crashed when trying to enter the figure ’1′, and another error occurred when I tried to reply @ someone. The program is in early release stage though, so hopefully these glitches will be ironed out in time.
